The Napoleon Central House was built in 1836 by George Craig. This has been used as a Post Office, Tavern, Stage Coach Stop and restaurant.
The Napoleon State Bank began in 1903 and is one of the few individual banks still operating in the state of Indiana.
St. John Lutheran Church is a spin off of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. St. John’s was established in 1870.
