Petersburg Distillery

The  Petersburg  Distillery  began  operation  in  1817  as  the  Petersburg  Steam  Mill  Company  until  1833  when  it  was  transformed  into  a  distillery.  This  eventually  became  the  largest  distillery  in  Kentucky  and  one  of  the  largest  in  the  country.
