Lynhurst Drive Stone Arch Bridge, Mars Hill, Indianapolis, Indiana
The historic Lynhurst Stone Arch Bridge was constructed around 1910. Unfortunately the Indiana Historical Society, the Central Library, the Marion County Historical Society, the Marion County Highway Department and the City of Indianapolis either didn’t know anything about this bridge or didn’t respond to my requests regarding information and pictures about the bridge. It’s definitely a bridge hidden in plain sight that very few people know about.
