Florida’s Bridge to Nowhere, Live Oak, Florida

Built in 1931 by the Austin Bridge Company of Dallas, Texas this bridge was in use up until 1971 when it was bypassed for the new alignment of Route 129 just 1100 feet downstream. No longer open to automobile traffic, this pedestrian bridge sees quite a bit of foot traffic and an occasional can of spray paint.
