Abandoned Ghost Road Next to a Cemetery in Warren County, Ohio, Blanchester

Apparently there was a county road that came off of Ohio Route 123 that ran alongside the New Hope Cemetery. This small portion of road is still listed on Google Maps as Starkey-Cleavenger Road. The road crossed “Second Creek” and immediately led back to a farm before zig-zagging across a field and intersecting with Gustin Rider Road about 1 mile to the southwest.

At some point after 1984 this bridge, which from aerial views looks to be like a concrete stringer bridge, was removed either by man or by nature and a new driveway bridge was built about 200 yards to the southeast for the property owners on the far side of the creek.

If anyone out there knows when the bridge was removed and what type of bridge it was, please leave a comment below.
