Abandoned Butler Run Aqueduct and Canal Lock #19, Brookville, Indiana

The Butler Run Whitewater Canal Aqueduct and Canal Lock #19 are located on the Northwest side of Brookville, Indiana. The aqueduct can easily be seen from U.S. Route 52 while the canal lock sits hidden back in the woods on private property. I was fortunate to get an interview with Mick Wilz a local landowner who is preserving portions of the Whitewater Canal between Metamora and Brookville.
