The LaGrange Phalanx Ghost Town, Brushy Prairie, Indiana

In existence between 1843 and 1848 The LaGrange Phalanx was one of about 30 such towns constructed by followers of Charles Fourier a French philosopher who believed in a Utopian Socialism. Today the town is completely gone with only a roadside marker to represent its location.
