The Double Culvert Road Tunnel, Sadieville, Kentucky

Built in 1911 this culvert/tunnel goes under the Norfolk Southern Rail line between Sadieville & Georgetown, Kentucky. Currently only one track is above the tunnel but up until the 1950s, two sets of tracks ran above. The tunnel is 117 feet long and even has a small stream that flows through a trench inside the tunnel. Come walk with me through this tunnel! It’s cool! Definitely worth the stop if you’re near Sadieville or Georgetown, Kentucky.
