Holy Guardian Angels Church, Cedar Grove, Indiana

Established in 1872 the congregation built the first church, only one story tall out of brick and then later added a second story turning the church into a school around 1916.

The current church was constructed in 1895 and is located along U.S. Route 52 in Cedar Grove, Indiana. On the ceiling of the church are frescos painted on canvas which is probably one of the most unique features of the edifice. A beautiful cemetery sits behind the church with benches made out of small boulders found in the area. A grotto is located under the church also made from these small boulders.
