Grand Trunk Western Standard Coaling Tower, Grand Haven, Michigan
Built in 1925 the Grand Trunk Western Coaling Tower is the only structure of its kind still standing in Michigan that is still accessible to the general public. Located in a park along the banks of the Grand River, this site also includes a restored steam locomotive, box car and a caboose. The rock band “Grand Funk Railroad” took it’s name from this rail line.
