North Custer Road Railroad Overpass, Dundee, Michigan, Strange Music in the Walkway Tunnel
The railroad overpass on North Custer Road just 2 miles Northeast of Dundee, Michigan is the Canadian National Flat Rock Subdivision, formerly the Detroit, Toledo & Ironton Railroad. It was constructed in 1925 with the last passenger train usage in 1931. This line runs 39.8 miles from Detroit, Michigan to Diann, Michigan. Although I visited this site twice, unfortunately I wasn’t able to catch any trains running on either visit. However, I did hear some strange music in the one walkway tunnel and I have no idea where it came from.
