Abandoned Civil War Confederate Railroad in North Florida, Live Oak, Florida

In North Florida on the edge of the Suwannee Music Park sits the remains of an abandoned rail line originally built during to Civil War to bring supplies from Florida, north to the Confederate troops on the front lines. Unfortunately the line wasn’t completed in time to be of any help to the South. However, the line was used for many years after the war for freight and passenger service.
