Zorger Road Bridge, Lumber City, Pennsylvania
Abandoned Railroad Bridge, Lumber City, Pennsylvania, Built 1885. Converted to Automobile Use 1930s
This abandoned bridge was constructed in 1885 as a railroad bridge for the New York Central Railroad line that served as a logging railroad for towns like New Millport and Kerrmoor. It was converted over to use for automobiles in the 1930s. The bridge is easily accessible although I’m not sure how long it will stand before it’s removed by the state.
