Ohio County, Indiana Courthouse

Rising Sun, Ohio County, Indiana Courthouse
www.historyinyourownbackyard.com The Rising Sun Courthouse was built in 1845 and is the oldest continuously used courthouse in the State of Indiana. When the courthouse was built there were no inside bathrooms, only outhouses behind the building and there were no interior hallways. To get from one office to another you had to exit the building and walk down to the next door. The last window on either side of the courthouse was originally a doorway. Special thanks to the staff at the Ohio County Courthouse for allowing us access to the building and a big thanks to Bobby Keith for his wealth of information on the history of the courthouse. We would also like to thank our model who narrated the film, Erika Padilla. Erika does many types of modeling projects and can be reached at: Padilla.ErikaM@gmail.com ErikaPadilla.daportfolio.com facebook.com/padyem
